Description

The main focus of the workshop will be on delay differential equations, which are abundant in

application of mathematics ---such as in biology (population dynamics), physics (nonlinear optics).

chemistry (thermochemical reactions), control, transportation, and economics. Using time delay in a

model will increase the accuracy of the model, thus the accuracy of the solution which will be

converted into solution in real problem. In this workshop, both ordinary and partial differential

equations with time delay will be discussed, including the ones with impulses. The existence and

uniqueness of this system, along with its stability will be presented in two talks and discussions. Some

applications of this system also will be given by two invited speakers.

One of the workshop’s goals is to establish research collaborations among the participants and

speakers. Some topics discussed in this workshop can be suitable for prospective graduate students.

Those who are interested in participating in this workshop should fill the registration form below and

send it to the Organizer by 11 July 2011. A fee of Rp 350,000 will be charged for each participant of

the workshop with special rate for students (Rp 200.000,00). The registration fee can be paid on the

registration desk.
